My last post introduced the Hawaiian system, Ho’oponopono.

We talked about taking responsibility for everything that is in your life.  This post is to clarify what is meant by taking responsibility.

Taking responsibility is not the same as blame.  Ho’oponopono is not about you causing the problems of the world.  It is not about you being guilty of doing anything bad.  You are already perfect.  The Divine created you that way.

Taking responsibility is about being aware of what you are experiencing within you.  You may observe someone and he/she looks angry.  But that is your interpretation and what you are experiencing based on your senses.  That is not necessarily what the person is experiencing.

Dr. Hew Len teaches that everything which appears in your life is just data or memories which are playing out in your reality.   Because it is your data, if you clean and clear, it can be changed with the help of the Divine.

Instead of reacting to what you judge as bad or negative, you now have the opportunity to clean the data which has us reacting the way we do.  When you react, you are not taking responsibility, you are blaming circumstances or other people.  It also disempowers you.  If you don’t take responsibility, you can’t change it.

You need to ask yourself, “What is going on within me which is attracting this person or circumstance in my life?”

100% responsibility.

Once you take responsibility, you then ask the Divine to clean it.  The Divine knows what is for your highest good.  You need to get out of your own way.
